VAP 2025 Recipient Announced: Amin Yousefi
Fonderia 20.9 is pleased to announce Amin Yousefi as the recipient of the Visiting Artist Program 2025. A London-based artist, writer, and researcher born in Abadan, Iran, Yousefi’s practice explores the socio-political dimensions of photography, focusing on archival systems, authorship, and strategies of visual control.
During his week-long residency in Verona, he will continue his project Defensive Readiness: Revised Edition—a critical reworking of an Iranian military training textbook through photography, typographic interventions, and participatory elements.
VAP is a short, process-based residency supporting research and experimentation within a public gallery setting.
