Announcement: Residency & Free Mentorship Opportunities at Fonderia 20.9

As part of our 10th anniversary, Fonderia 20.9 wishes to welcome & support new artistic perspectives in 2025 so we are excited to launch two open calls:

Back-and-Forth runs from April to December 2025, offering three emerging photographers based in Italy a free mentorship program with group sessions, one-on-one guidance, and virtual studio visits. The program fosters critical dialogue and professional development, culminating in a final showcase at Fonderia 20.9 in 2026. Read more and apply here.

VAP, taking place in December 2025, offers a one-week artist residency, providing €1,000, production support, and exhibition space to develop and present an ongoing project in a gallery setting. Read more and apply here.
